presbyopia

A condition that normally occurs in people in their 40s and 50s. The crystalline lens inside your eye becomes less flexible as you age, which makes it difficult to focus on close objects. Presbyopia is a natural part of the aging process of the eye. It is not a disease, and it cannot be prevented. Dr. Manger is also able to correct presbyopia with “blended monovision” LASIK.
